- About
Hi my name is Jos "Ret" de Kroon and I have played Starcraft 1 and 2 for the past 9 years. I have followed several studies at University, but Starcraft has always been my greatest passion. So when I got the offer to to Korea to try out for the estro team and play in courage tournaments to obtain a progamer liscense in 2009, I just had to do it. Even though it didn't become a permanent stay I had a great experience and it helped me improve as a player, and it taught me some great practice routines that I learned from the Koreans. I returned home from this trip right around the time Starcraft II beta came out. After picking up the game kind of late in beta, I once again moved to Korea in november of 2010 to live with the Team Liquid and oGs team in a shared appartment, to make a run at the GSL. I am in an appartment with 20 other Starcraft II players, many of which have made very deep runs into the GSL and have many years of experience as a progamer in Korea. I learn a lot from just being around these guys everyday. At time of writing I am still in Korea and I plan to be here for many months to come, training hard on the Korean ladder and trying my best to get high finishes in the GSLs to come. I have been to multiple WCG's, and have played tournaments all over the world for both Starcraft I and Starcraft II and I believe my experience in competitive Starcraft is only matched by very few around the world. With this experience and the game knowledge I have acquired through the years I think I have all the tools needed for you to to improve as a player. I look forward to working with you!
