- About
Hello, my name is Richard “Future” Almand, and my main race for both Starcraft Brood war and Starcraft 2 is Protoss. I am currently a part of team FXO Sc2 division. I have been playing Starcraft Brood War for about 9 years competitively. I have been in many high level tournaments and leagues (WCG, GGL, TSL) and have competed at the highest level in Starcraft 1 for about 5 years. I have been on such teams as [LighT], eXpertise, and most recently the sponsored Pandemic.
Coaching, just like with being a good Starcraft 2 gamer, takes practice to master. Just because a player is ranked high on the ladder or does well in tournaments does not necessarily mean they will be a great coach. I am not only one of the top North American gamers with good results in the ladder, tournaments, and clan wars but I also have the coaching hours to back me as well. With over 800+ hours coached, I know what methods work best based on what my student needs, but I am also constantly looking for ways to further improve my coaching/teaching techniques. I coach all the races, and I have many students that I have coached from bronze-gold all the way to diamond and masters and still come to me today for weekly lessons. You can also check my reviews in the "schedule a lesson" section to see what some of my students have said about my coaching.
I look forward to meeting and working with you!
