Hallo, my name is Paulo “CatZ” Vizcarra, and I am 24 years old, Originally from Peru , currently living in Florida. I Played Starcraft: Broodwar, where I was the leader of Team Peru and iNfernal Gamers (one of the top European teams for a long time). Im broodwar I focused mainly on 2v2 and excelled at it, having the highest Ladder raitings In early WGTour seasons with ‘Naranjito’ and winning multiple tournaments, later on played 2v2 competitively with my current sc2 ally ‘drewbie’.
I started playing Starcraft 2 during the Beta where I created team ROOT (alongside with drewbie). ROOT’s mission was to scout for potential and talent and become the best team in North America by training hard and having clear goals. I mention a lot of these things because I think scouting for talent and my leadership experience combined with my creativity make me a strong coach. I’ve been doing lessons on the side for a while and now and I am proud to say my students have had great success up until now.
I am somewhat known in starcraft 2 for my creative and someone unorthodox play, I like to figure out this game not by watching replays or copying strategies but by trying my hardest to understand it, and I really enjoy passing on this sort of knowledge.
I am also have a bachellor’s degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, which is currently just sitting there chillin, as StarCraft II is what I love doing. I enjoy playing soccer, playing poker (although im not great at it), streaming and interacting with my viewers, and once in a while playing HoN or LoL as a distraction.
