GosuCoaching Weekly Tournament

The Idea

We at GosuCoaching are bitterly stuck on the US server, unable to participate in the plethora of weekly cash tournaments that the European server produces. We have found a solution! The GosuCoaching Weekly Tournament hopefully come to be known as America's "ZOTAC" Cup. We are going to be putting $100 into the hands of the winner each week and hopefully produce hundreds of great games at every event that we can broadcast and release to the public.

Tournament Format

Zerg vs Zerg in Starcraft 2

Out of all the match-ups so far in Starcraft 2, Zerg vs Zerg is the one match-up that is most diverse. Their are numerous amounts of build orders that are able to catch your opponent off guard in order to secure an advantage. Most of this is due to lack of scouting in early Zerg vs Zerg match-up because of the Queens range and ground to air firepower.

Queens

ZvsT: Countering early Terran aggression

Abstract

Terran hold many powerful, early-game harassment and rush tactics that can devastate a powering Zerg player who lacks complete information from scouting.  At the same time, a hungry, but well-prepared Zerg [army] will find it difficult to battle a Terran as the game progresses.  Even with a strong army in the early game, Zerg players can find themselves caught by surprise at the Terran's tech route or unit composition - largely thanks to Terran's ability to wall-off completely by 15supply on the current maps.
